GRANDFATHER  YAMAMOTO

          How old is grandfather? l don’t know, He never talks about his age.He’s around seventy,maybe seventy-five.Years ago he was a strong man.He was a farmer,soldier and a wrestler.He was a the pride of his village.

            Now he is getting old. He doesn’t see without his glasses,and he can’t lift heavy things. His hair is thin and almost all white. But he has stonge face.

            Grandfather loves his store. He needs a store. It’s his only joy. He has friends,but they are all old. Oh,yes,he has us,the family, and l guess he loves us,but he doesn’t show it.

            He lives in the past, all of his friends are living in the past. At least the past can’t change. They can’t take it away from you. It’s always there,and you can close your eyes and see it. Granma was kind lovely lady,and granfather’s world is not the same without her.
